Most likely, the issue will be included in his file and it might be used against him if he ever does something controversial in the future.

What made this whole thing a bigger issue is that A-Rod’s suspension could have made a lot of impacts on the odds for sports betting. If he does get suspended – which is unlikely – big money could be lost. On the other hand, A-Rod has been through tougher stuff than this so it’s possible that he’ll only get a light slap on the wrist for this. A-Rod has said that the reports are grossly exaggerated.
