Joe Cada to Defend Title
Meanwhile, when Joe Cada isn’t busy hosting poker tourneys, he is gearing up for this year’s WSOP Main Event where he is set to defend his title. Back in November last year, Cada became the youngest poker player in history to win the WSOP Main Event title. He represented Team PokerStars.
With his title, he also took home a whopping $8.5 million, placing him in 3rd place with the highest winnings in the WSOP Main Event tourney. Jamie Gold has the highest winnings so far, bagging $12 million and Peter Eastgate comes in 2nd, with his $9 million winnings.
Cada played in sixteen WSOP events last year and word has it that he intends to play in twenty games in this year’s WSOP tournaments.
