A statement has been released that UK poker pro Jake Cody recently signed a sponsorship deal with PKR and its roster. PKR already has a number of highly respectable players, and with the addition of Jake Cody in its roster, things just got a lot better for PKR.
An Awesome Addition to the Team
As mentioned before, PKR has a number of skilled players on its professional team, but PKR still lacks something that would give it the right atmosphere. With the recent addition of the UK poker pro, things are now looking good as it now has one of the poker world’s top stars. Jake Cody will be joining James Sudworth, Sascha Geshkenbein, Scott Shelley, Marc Barillier, and Sofia Lovgren, all of which are skilled players.
Satisfied by the deal right after, Jake Cody said “I’m very excited about joining Team PKR Pro. I’ve been patient with sponsorship, waiting for the right deal to come along. When I spoke to PKR, I was really impressed with the whole setup and the ideas that they have going forward and I knew straight away I wanted to be part of it! It’s a great site to be involved with right now and I think I can help take it to the next level”
PKR Marketing Director Simon Prodger also said “We’re delighted to welcome Jake to Team PKR. He is the future of poker, a perfect example of the new breed of players who are taking the game to new heights. We’re really excited that PKR’s players will have the opportunity to interact with Jake and benefit from his insight and experience.”
About Jake Cody
22 year old Jake Cody is without a doubt one of the top stars in the game. Along with Bertrand Grospellier, Gavin Griffin and Roland De Wolfe, Jake Cody has won the “Triple Crown, which is a WPT championship, a EPT championship, and a WSOP bracelet. The best part about it is that Jake Cody managed to win the titles in a pretty short amount of time. In his career, Jake was able to win four tournaments, get eight final table finishes and cashed out seventeen times overall.
Jake’s Contributions
Of course, aside from wearing the Team PKR look during international events, Jake will also be helping the site build up its media content. Jake will be featured in videos and will also be interact with PKR’s poker community, including his fellow sponsored players as well.
