Being considered as a Full Tilt pro is one of the biggest honors that a poker player can receive. After all, Full Tilt may not be the biggest poker site out there, since it’s only second to Pokerstars in terms of size, but it’s certainly the best if we’re talking about its roster of poker pros. Its most recent addition in the red pros category is Jackie Glazier, one of the most popular rising poker stars in Australia today. She’s the first female in Australia to make it into Full Tilt’s very exclusive red pro list, where she’ll be joining the ranks of Eli Elezra, Brian Townsend, and more.
Full Tilt Red Pro
If you’ve played with Jackie before at Full Tilt, don’t be surprised if you see her rooms in red the next time you bump into her. Usually, when you go to Full Tilt, you’ll notice that some of the rooms there are highlighted in red, this only means that there is a Full Tilt Red pro playing in that room – or simply put, one who is being sponsored by Full Tilt Poker. There aren’t any set requirements for getting into the list, as Full Tilt selects the members at will. Basically, you can just be reasonably famous and you’ll be able to get in if Full Tilt deems you to be ‘worthy’.
About Jackie Glazier
Those who aren’t from Australia might not recognize Jackie, but rest assured that she has been making really big waves in the industry recently. She’s actually a pretty new poker player but she has already displayed tremendous talent in the felt. She began playing in 2008, where she learned by playing home games with her friends. She also joined a couple of live tournaments there where she got some nifty cashes; she finished 9th in the PokerNews cup Championship and she finished 10th in the Ladies Event at the Victorian Poker Championship. Of course, Glazier wasn’t a full time poker player then. She was actually a tennis player and a math teacher. The latter probably gave her the affinity for the game and the former likely gave her the necessary competitiveness to achieve something great in a tough field.
Jackie started playing more seriously in 2010, however, wherein she made a pretty nifty AUD $90,000 through live tournaments alone. Her biggest cash was at the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour, where she won AUD $37,500. Indeed, Jackie is a regular poker success story, so be sure to watch out for her career as a Full Tilt Red Pro.
