Emmitt Smith is one of the biggest stars in the world of Football. He’s a thre-time Super Bowl Champion who managed to score 175 touchdowns throughout his career. Emmitt Smith played for the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals. He even became the NFL’s all-time rushing leader, a record once held by Walter Payton, who was Emmitt Smith’s childhood hero. Smith also won the NFL Most Valuable Player Award, the Supr Bowl MVP Award, and also theNFL Rushing Crown. Smith was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010 for his numerous achievements. Aside from being a talented Football pro, though, Emmitt Smith is also a talented poker player.

He won against Phil Ivey at heads up on the Celebrity Invitational Charity Tournament, where he won a seat to the 2010 WSOP Main Event. Emmett Smith is not only talented in Football and Poker, though, as he also joined the hit TV competition, Dancing with the Stars. Indeed, Emmitt Smith is the epitome of the word multi-talented. It’s really appropriate that Emmitt Smith has been chosen as the new member of “Friends of Full Tilt”.

Smith will be representing Full Tilt in the poker tournaments that he will join this year. He joined the National Heads up Poker Championship as a Full Tilt pro. He won against David Williams but lost against Andrew Robl. He professed his interest for the game despite leaving early at the WSOP Main Event last year, saying that he’s “learning more about the game”. He even summed the game up nicely by saying that “You’ve got to be able to get the cards. You’ve got to be able to understand when to bet. And then you just go from there.” Indeed, that’s a pretty nice summation of all the action that goes on at the felt. It’s going to be interesting to see him join live tournaments this 2011.
