For example, if $0.90 is raked, 9 points will be distributed evenly among players dealt into the hand. With this new method of Full Tilt Point allocation at cash games it is no longer an advantage to play 9 play cash games over shorthanded tables.
The only reason that 9-handed tables may still have a slight advantage over shorthanded tables is because the blinds hit you less which allows you to play tighter, which is now the only tip for cash game bonus clearing
Play Tight
The Full Tilt Points are awarded using the dealt method, which means you earn the same amount of points by folding as you do by contributing to the total rake. By playing tight you will still accumulate the same amount of Full Tilt Points while protecting yourself against going broke before you have released your entire bonus.

Full Tilt Poker awards 10 Full Tilt Points for every $1 that is paid in tournament fees. Your bonus is cleared at a rate of $0.04 for every 1 Full Tilt Point this amounts $0.40 cleared for every $1 that you pay in fees.
