Patrik Antonius had a very good session against Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan the other day and is now up by almost $500K in the challenge. The exact numbers stand as Antonius having a $491,028.50 profit after 13,246 hands of action. This lead is far from insurmountable though with huge swings normal when playing for at the $200/$400 tables like these players are. The challenge is just past a quarter of the way finished so there is a lot of time for Tom Dwan to play catch up. Although it looks as though Antonius has become much more comfortable playing the 4 heads up matches simultaneusly and will be very difficult to beat.
The challenge will likely be put on hold during the WSOP so hopefully they can get in a few more hands before then and at least get the 25,000 hand plateau. Keep your eyes on the Durrrr Challenge tables at Full Tilt Poker for the next huge session between these two talented players.
