Greg Mueller was able to wade through a field of 572 players and win the $1500 limit hold’em shootout event at the 2009 World Series of Poker. For this win Mueller takes home just under $195K and more importantly his second bracelet of the series. Mueller is only the second player to take down multiple bracelets and is the second Full Tilt Poker Pro to do so, with the other being Phil Ivey.
Mueller also won the $10,000 World Championship of limit poker so he has really made a name for himself as someone to be taken seriously at the limit tables.
This is team Full Tilt’s 7th bracelet at the World Series and hopefully for Full Tilt Poker, not the last. The WSOP is winding down with only a few more bracelets up for grabs before the Main Event begins on July 3rd.
Everything will soon be back to normal at Full Tilt Poker as well.
